Ways to Give

You have the power to change the conversation from impossible to possible.

Globally, one in six individuals navigates life with a neurobiological challenge. Early identification and effective therapeutic support through The Jacob’s Ladder Group’s Interpersonal Whole-Brain Model of Care® (IWBMC™) forges the path to hope and healing.

Your support provides life-changing services and a path forward for families and individuals navigating life with brain-based challenges. All gifts make a significant and lasting difference, and there are many ways to contribute—our goal is to help you find the right one for you and your family.

Jacob’s Ladder is a 501(C)3 charitable organization; donations are tax-deductible. Our legal name is The Jacob’s Ladder Group, and our EIN is 58-2405137.

SUCCESS STORIES

Witness the transformative power of your generosity

Areas of Need

Jacob’s Ladder and the IWBMC™ help our clients reach their fullest potential-  changing the conversation from impossible to possible for individuals every day. Your support helps fund every aspect of our mission, from research and training to client scholarships and specialized therapeutic programming. Programs like Love Without Borders, which provide telehealth support services to underserved communities and families, are made possible by your generosity.

General Fund

Jacob’s Ladder is dedicated to restoring the body, mind, and spirit of individuals and families navigating life with neurobiological challenges. As a non-profit, we rely on donations to the General Fund to provide daily care and healing for our clients at our Roswell and Buckhead campuses.

Love Without Borders

It is estimated that 16% of the world’s population is affected by a neurobiological diagnosis in their lifetime. Through our Love Without Borders program, we provide telehealth support services to underserved and under-resourced families who seek access to treatment and effective care for their loved ones.

Specialized Therapeutic Programs

Jacob’s Ladder offers a variety of proven activities and therapies that enhance and support our client’s individualized care programs. Music and art therapy, animal-assisted activities, outdoor adventure-based learning, summer camp, mental health counseling, and neurofeedback are incorporated into daily activities to support brain growth and improved function. Gifts support the programs, facilities, equipment, and staff that make these possible.

Client Scholarships

The Jacob’s Ladder model is highly effective. In 2023 alone, more than 500 families sought admission or enrollment in our auxiliary programs and services. Your gifts help make therapeutic care accessible to families in need.

Ascend Training Institute

Ascend Training Institute addresses the critical need for highly skilled providers to deliver our specialized model of care, the IWBMC™. Like a teaching hospital or learning practicum experience, Ascend trains evaluators and providers through educational and hands-on experiential opportunities at our two Metro Atlanta campuses.

Pillar Research Institute

Pillar Research Institute is a data collection and research entity focused on assessment, qEEG brain mapping, treatment, and outcome analysis. It deepens The Jacob’s Ladder Group’s understanding and contributes to the ever-evolving literature on the latest educational and developmental neuroscience research. Pillar Research helps improve the lives of vulnerable children and adults with disabilities.
