Get Help For A Loved One
Your Guide to Getting Started And Transformation.
A void in strategic, innovative, integrated care means opportunities are lost, and hope for promising futures is diminished. This is a humanistic and financial dilemma for individual families and our society. Within the growing global crisis, there is much human suffering. I have witnessed this firsthand through the thousands of families I have met with, evaluated, and served. Now is the time to help them turn toward Hope.

STEP 4: ONGOING SUPPORT
Progress is recorded and monitored continuously through AHAVA, our digital software platform. Our team, you, and your loved one’s providers will all have access to AHAVA to view and share the information and progress.
We also partner with outside professionals and schools. Regardless of your child’s current circumstances, we can help them be successful and thrive. We can implement the program with you in a variety of ways. Learn more about implementing our program yourself or with your child’s existing school below.
My loved one is struggling, I don’t know why, but I think we need help.
Do any of the following questions apply to your situation?
- Does your child not fit perfectly into a diagnostic category, and is it difficult to pinpoint why they are unsuccessful in a traditional school or other setting?
- Is your child bright but struggling with some anxiety and difficulties in school?
- Have you tried to understand why but can’t find a solution because your child is “basically on track” – even if their grades show a discrepancy?

There is nuance to every child, and there is a solution. Our whole-person, whole-brain approach seeks to understand the root cause of these difficulties by deeply looking into your child development therapy and neurodevelopmental functioning, physiology, emotional-behavioral-relational health, learning style, and social structure. It is never too late to see change, and We Can Help.

Other Options Beyond Full-Time Enrollment:
Caregiver Training
Ascend Training Institute trains parents, relatives, and caregivers in the Interpersonal Whole-Brain Model of Care® (IWBMC™). We know the importance of ensuring each child experiencing challenges receives a consistent and united approach, and we understand the impact of a loved one struggling.
We can help:
- Families seeking to implement the principles of the IWBMC™ within their home, helping their loved ones reach their full potential
- Parents seeking information to understand their child’s unique needs more deeply
- Parents looking for information and strategies to address their child’s learning differences, behavioral challenges, or mobility needs
- Extended family members and caregivers who want to educate themselves on how to best interact with a loved one who experiences brain-based challenges
- Family members and caregivers seeking training before completing the Provider or Evaluator Certification Exam
Classroom Support Training
The School Support Model allows existing schools to offer the IWBMC™ in their programs by training staff in the global therapeutic model and evaluating individual students or whole classrooms. An IWBMC™-Certified Evaluator observes classrooms or specific students and then shares strategies and resources to better support individual students and classrooms as a whole.
- Observations completed by an IWBMC™-Certified Evaluator
- Written strategies, activities, and recommendations to increase success for the student, classroom, and teacher
- Individualized training for the teacher and other school professionals
- Ongoing support for teachers and school professionals from Ascend Training Institute
Observations and trainings occur over several days based on the school’s needs.
