When you contribute to the Compass Program, you help create valuable job skills opportunities for our clients through partnerships with local businesses. Your support empowers young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders to build a path to meaningful employment and greater independence. Discover how our expanded community partnerships are growing the role of neurodiversity in the workplace.
Our Community Partners program has expanded with the addition of Twin Branch Nurseries, a horticulture and landscaping company located in Woodstock, GA. By collaborating with local businesses through our Community Partnership Program, we’re opening doors to exceptional job training opportunities that empower individuals to build skills for a successful future.
The Compass Program is designed to help clients discover their potential, pursue their passions, and achieve future success through personal living skills, vocational training, community engagement, and educational planning.
Support for neurodiversity in the workplace is growing as more industries recognize the valuable contributions of individuals, such as those in our Compass Program. Barrett Stanford, Compass Program Director, highlighted, “What’s great about this is that the skills gained at partners like Twin Branch are applicable across many job environments. Our goal is to equip our clients for their next steps, which involve working independently and collaborating with local businesses, which helps us create those opportunities.”

Having a diverse range of partnerships increases our ability to connect our clients’ interests and passions to meaningful work. Jacob’s Ladder works with various partners, from restaurants and service organizations to animal care facilities. However, we must expand our partnerships and diversify our job training placements to serve our clients better.
If you’re a business owner interested in offering job training opportunities and making a difference in our community, we encourage you to contact us. Together, we can foster a more inclusive workforce that not only empowers neurodiverse individuals but also enriches our community with their unique talents and perspectives.
