In August, Jacob’s Ladder hosted a client and his care providers from Germany, who traveled to our Roswell campus to participate in our Intensive Program. As part of our Community of Care program, this initiative offers families the unique opportunity to spend time on our Roswell campus and immerse themselves in our Interpersonal Whole-Brain Model of Care® (IWBMC™) methodology.
“Our Intensive program, a cornerstone of our Community of Care initiative, offers families the opportunity to visit our Roswell campus for anywhere from one to two weeks, or even several months, to train in the IWBMC™,” said Evan Henderson, Director of Wraparound Services. “Each client undergoes a comprehensive evaluation and receives an individualized therapeutic program. Our JL team then trains their providers in our model of care so they can effectively implement strategies and techniques upon returning home.” During their stay, clients, their families, and providers live on-site in our Truth or Love House, working closely with our team to master the IWBMC™ methodology and its application.
After returning home, our team provides continuous oversight to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing refinement of the therapeutic programs based on client progress. This approach guarantees that transformative care extends beyond our campus, no matter where clients are.

In the past year, families from across the U.S. and the globe, including Switzerland, the UK, Australia, and South America, have traveled to Georgia to participate in the Intensive program. As Jacob’s Ladder Group continues to expand its reach, we are excited to bring our innovative methodologies to even more people, making specialized care more accessible than ever. Thanks to generous donations, we can provide this life-changing support and ensure that clients and their care providers are equipped with essential tools for continued success.
